The PaperMC v1.20.2 update was a little slow this time, but it’s finally available so Amplified Moosh (as well as our other servers) have been updated. This broke SimplePets for a bit, but about a week later it’s now working again. Yay! Pets! Incidentally, SimplePets is really working great these days! The user database is now working properly so when you leave and rejoin the server, your pets respawn when you do (if they were spawned the last you left the server). Naming pets is working and the pet names are retained. It’s just really working very well these days! Kudos to the dev for continuing this project, completely rewriting it, and continuing to support/update it!
Nothing really new with the Amplified Moosh server. We’ve just been keeping things updated and fixing what the updates break. Sometimes it’s quite a bit of a job.

On a bummer note, I noticed that Mojang held their Minecraft Live event the other day. Sigh. For those who don’t know, Minecraft Live events replaced the annual MineCon (Minecraft Convention), and although we may be a bit biased since Mooshroom Jockey was created at MineCon 2013, we miss the conventions. Oh, well. Maybe they’ll start them up again one day. In the meantime, if you want to know what happened at this year’s Minecraft Live you can go HERE.
